Gov Alia Appoints Aboh Tile as Benue State’s New Auditor General

Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, the Governor of Benue State, has sanctioned the appointment of Aboh Tile as the new Auditor General of the State. The announcement was made by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sir Tersoo Kula, in a statement released in Makurdi, the state capital.

Prior to his current role, Aboh Tile served as the Director of Audit in the Office of the State Auditor-General since 2015. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from ABU, Zaria, a Master of Business Administration from Benue State University, and a Master of Science Degree in Development Studies, also from Benue State University.

Furthermore, he is a respected Member of the National Accountants of Nigeria, an Associate Member of the Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and a Member of the Institute of Development Administration of Nigeria.

Sir Kula emphasized that the appointment is effective immediately, and added that His Excellency has issued a directive for all files and documents belonging to the office to be promptly handed over to the new Auditor.
