Amid the looming governorship rerun election in Zamfara State, Governor Dauda Lawal has exuded unwavering confidence, asserting his readiness to emerge victorious in the upcoming contest.

The Governor, who recently returned from a foreign trip, conveyed his optimistic stance to a multitude of supporters at the State’s PDP secretariat in Gusau, the capital city.

“I am absolutely certain that even in the hypothetical scenario of the election being repeated a hundred times, I would secure a landslide triumph,” Governor Lawal declared.

He expressed contentment with the court’s decision and affirmed his preparedness to engage in the contest with the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in his home constituency.

Asserting his conviction, he proclaimed, “Allah has ordained me as the Governor of Zamfara State, and this is immutable, irrespective of the actions of the opposing APC members and other detractors.”

Citing achievements, the Governor highlighted, “We have commenced on a positive note by settling all civic servants’ entitlements, covering the outstanding WAEC and NECO fees which the preceding administration neglected.”

He added, “We have made strides in addressing water scarcity and initiated the construction of urban roads in Gusau, the state’s metropolis.”

“An unequivocal state of emergency has been declared in the education sector, and by the grace of God, we will salvage the state from fragmentation,” Governor Lawal affirmed.

Concluding with a bold declaration, he stated, “Our numerous accomplishments within a remarkably brief period have unsettled our adversaries.”
