NSCDC Kwara Commandant Calls for Upholding Core Values Among Staff

The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State, Umar Mohammed, has urged staff members of the command to uphold the core values of the Corps, with a specific emphasis on integrity and respect for human rights.

During his inaugural working visit to formations within his command in the state, he emphasized the importance of integrity and respect for human rights.

The Commandant visited over 20 divisional offices as part of a strategic initiative aimed at gaining firsthand insights into operational activities, assessing personnel performance, and ensuring the effective execution of the Corps’ statutory functions.

He also revealed plans to extend his visits to all area commands and divisional offices in the state, commending officers and personnel across divisions for their unwavering dedication to safeguarding lives, properties, critical national assets, and infrastructure.

Additionally, he urged the Corps personnel to collaborate closely with other security agencies, local communities, farmers, and herders to promote peaceful coexistence and prevent potential conflicts.
