Wikki Tourists’ skipper, Mohammed Gida, is expressing confidence in the team’s ability to adapt to the challenging weather conditions in Yobe as they prepare for their Nigeria National League matchday four fixture.

The Bauchi Elephants are gearing up to face off against Yobe Desert Stars at the Gashua Stadium in Damaturu this coming Saturday. Gida emphasized that the team has undergone rigorous preparations to acclimatize to the local weather conditions. In rallying the club’s supporters, he expressed optimism for a favorable outcome from the upcoming game.

“We’ve put in the work to acclimate to the weather conditions in Damaturu,” Gida revealed to the club’s media. “It has been demanding, especially under the scorching sun, but our preparations have been geared towards ensuring we’re ready for the challenge.”

Gida also urged the club’s fans to anticipate a positive result from the game, affirming, “We have trained extensively to secure a favorable outcome following the match.”

Notably, Wikki Tourists have clinched five points from their initial three matches, indicating a promising start to their campaign.
