Para-Sports Games: FCT defeat Plateau 2-0 to advance to semifinal

The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, para-soccer team defeated Plateau State 2-0 on Sunday to reach the semifinals of the ongoing Para-Sports Games in Abuja.
The game was held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
Mohammed Abba’s free-kick in the 35th minute cemented the FCT team’s dominance in the game.
The Plateau team rallied back but was unable to breach the FCT defense.
On the restart, the FCT team resumed where they left off, dominating the game.
In the 59th minute, Abdullahi Garba doubled the lead, putting FCT firmly in control of the game.
After the game, FCT coach Umar Jimba expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance.
“ This is our first appearance in the Para-Sports Games in Abuja. We started by beating kwara 5-0 to advance to the quarter final.
“The players and the coaching crew deserved commendation for “a job well-done,” he said.
He also thanked the supporters for their support and urged them to keep it up.
