The 2024 Lagos State Budget: A Beacon of Renewal

On a momentous Wednesday, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu unveiled a bold vision for the future, presenting the esteemed Lagos State House of Assembly with a groundbreaking budget estimate of N2.2 trillion for the upcoming fiscal year of 2024.

Themed ‘Budget of Renewal’, this comprehensive financial plan encompasses a recurrent expenditure of N1.02 trillion, constituting 45% of the total budget, and a formidable N1.22 trillion allocated to capital expenditure, representing 55% of the budget.
