In a significant announcement, Abdullahi Adamu, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has declared his retirement from active participation in politics.
At a recent event celebrating the launch of a book titled ‘Progressive Governance, Showcasing The Achievements of His Excellency, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State 2019 – 2023’, penned by Abdullahi Tanimu, Adamu revealed that he is disengaging from partisan political activities due to developing allergies towards them.
During his address, Adamu emphasized the need to extend support to Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, commending the governor for building upon the accomplishments of his predecessors and elevating the state to new heights.
“I am not only a retiree but I am out of politics. I’m beginning to develop little allergies for political activities now and political speeches,” remarked Adamu, signaling a definitive end to his political career. “So, forgive me, I will not make any political statement beyond asking for more support for the governor of the state. He needs all your prayers and goodwill to be able to succeed.”
