LaLiga: Xavi Frustrated as Barcelona’s Struggles in Front of Goal Continue

Barcelona’s head coach, Xavi Hernandez, has expressed his frustration at his team’s lack of efficiency in front of goal, branding them as “one of the worst in Europe” when it comes to converting chances. This statement comes in the wake of Barcelona’s 1-1 draw with Valencia in LaLiga over the weekend.

The draw against Valencia comes on the back of consecutive losses to Antwerp in the Champions League and Girona in the domestic league. Eager to reverse their fortunes, Barcelona aimed to secure a victory at the Mestalla. Reflecting on the draw, Xavi lamented, “This match pretty much summarises the season for us. We train for finishing, but it ultimately depends on the players’ confidence. We seem to be one of the teams with the poorest finishing in Europe. I am very frustrated today.”
