Ice Prince Holds Jesse Jagz Responsible for Choc Boiz Split

Nigerian artist Ice Prince, also known as Panshak Henry Zamani, recently attributed the breakup of Choc Boiz to fellow musician Jesse Jagz. The Choc Boiz Collective, initially comprised of M.I, Jesse Jagz, and Ice Prince, disbanded after the latter two departed from Chocolate City to establish their own record labels – Jesse Jagz Nation and Super Cool Cat, respectively.

In a candid interview with Echoo Room, Ice Prince expressed his belief that Jesse Jagz could have done more to sustain the collective. He conveyed, “The person that’s responsible for not putting this Choc Boiz Collective musically together is Jesse Jagz. I feel he needs to put more ginger for it to happen. Jesse, you have to take one for the team, bro. A lot of times the blame always gets pointed to M.I. because he is the big bro, he has to take the blame. But Jesse, you have to take one for the team. It’s your fault my G. You need Jesse more than he is available for the team right now.”

Ice Prince’s revelation sheds light on the intricacies of the group’s dynamics and the challenges they encountered. It provides an insight into the personal and musical dynamics within the Nigerian music industry, captivating audiences and offering a glimpse into the complexities of artistic collaborations.
