Afrobeats Sensation Davido Sets Sights on Grammy Glory as Three Nominations Unveiled

Renowned Nigerian artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has candidly expressed that his fervent daily prayer revolves around clinching the prestigious Grammy Awards.

Davido’s aspirations come to light following his outstanding recognition with three nominations at the 2024 Grammys. Notably, his fourth studio album, ‘Timeless,’ has earned a nomination in the esteemed Best Global Music Album category, while his tracks ‘Unavailable’ and ‘Feel’ have secured nominations in the distinguished Best African Music Performance and Best Global Music Performance categories, respectively.

In an exclusive interview with GQ, Davido unreservedly shared, “Everybody knows what one of my prayer points is now. I have been nominated for three Grammys. So, everybody knows what I am praying for every day I wake up.”
