David De Gea Rejects Nottingham Forest Transfer Offer

In a surprising turn of events, David de Gea has declined an opportunity to make a Premier League comeback with Nottingham Forest, as reported by The Athletic. The Spanish goalkeeper, who departed from Manchester United just seven months ago, was sought after by Forest due to their apparent doubts about their current goalkeepers, Matt Turner and Odysseas Vlachodimos. Despite being a free agent, De Gea showed no inclination towards the proposed short-term deal presented by intermediaries, which was viewed as a strategic move to attract larger offers in the upcoming summer transfer window. Consequently, Nottingham Forest opted to secure the services of Matz Sels instead.
