Renowned comedian and actor, Bright Okpocha, also known as Basketmouth, has expressed his desire for the iconic musician, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, to fully embrace the Nigerian film industry.
Applauding 2Baba’s performance in his recent skit titled “The Secret Of Lulu,” Basketmouth encouraged the musician to consider a full-fledged acting career, particularly citing his impressive use of the Tiv accent in the skit.
Basketmouth revealed that he is already working on a project tailored for 2Baba’s comedic character in the skit, hinting at the potential for a collaborative masterpiece. Taking to his social media handle, Basketmouth reached out to 2Baba, proposing, “My brother @official2baba, we should create something beautiful from this character you played here. I think it’s going to be a masterpiece. My brain is already cooking up something. Consider it, my friend.”
As of now, 2Baba has yet to respond to Basketmouth’s proposition. It’s worth noting that 2Baba has previously made appearances in Nollywood productions such as ‘Head Gone,’ ‘Make A Move,’ and a cameo in ’10 Days In Sun City.’
