Zuri Marley Expresses Desire for Collaboration with Burna Boy in Honor of Bob Marley

Zuri Marley, granddaughter of the legendary Jamaican reggae icon Bob Marley, revealed at the London premiere of ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ that she envisions a collaboration between her late grandfather and the Grammy-winning Nigerian artist, Burna Boy. She expressed that Burna Boy is the only musician she would have cherished to see working alongside her grandfather.

During the premiere, Marley shared her thoughts, stating, “The person who I would want my grandpa [Bob Marley] to collaborate with is Burna Boy. I had to think about it. I went backstage and I was like, ‘Burna Boy. Africa Unite.’”

This announcement comes in light of the soundtrack EP of the music biopic ‘Bob Marley: One Love,’ which features two Nigerian artists, Wizkid and Bloody Civilian.

Zuri Marley’s inspiring words highlight a cross-generational connection, embodying the enduring impact and global reach of her grandfather’s legacy in the world of music.
