Comedian Seyi Law Regrets Supporting President Tinubu, Says Eedris Abdulkareem

Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has stirred controversy by alleging that comedian Seyi Law confessed to regretting his support for President Bola Tinubu. Abdulkareem claimed that Seyi Law publicly apologized and renounced his endorsement of Tinubu at a recent event. According to Abdulkareem, Seyi Law admitted his mistake, expressing remorse for his previous stance.

In a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Abdulkareem revealed the interaction, stating, “I was at an event yesterday and Seyi Law came up and said, ‘Abeg, make una no vex o! Everybody don curse me taya because I stand for Tinubu. I no dey im mandate again o!’ ” He further quoted Seyi Law’s admission, “I messed up… He said no be say im collect anything. He said he made the biggest mistake.”

While Seyi Law has not responded to Abdulkareem’s podcast statements, the rapper’s claims contradict Seyi Law’s recent social media post, where he encouraged Nigerians to demonstrate patience with President Tinubu and asserted his willingness to vote for the president in a hypothetical election tomorrow.
