Speculations surrounding Peter Obi’s departure from the Labour Party have been debunked by his media team, the Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR). They emphasized that the reports of his exit were fabricated and unfounded.

Michael Nwolisa, Obi’s Media Aide, refuted the claims, labeling them as false information perpetuated by troublemakers aiming to disrupt the party’s unity.

Nwolisa stated, “These malicious acts to destabilize the party have been ongoing, reflecting a broader agenda to undermine the party cohesion and target Obi personally.”

He highlighted that Peter Obi’s current focus is on national development rather than partisan politics, following the conclusive decision of the Supreme Court on the 2023 presidential election.

Addressing the attempts to incite turmoil within the Labour Party, Nwolisa condemned such actions, tagging them as undemocratic and in opposition to the principles of a just political system.

Emphasizing Obi’s unwavering commitment to the Labour Party, Nwolisa underlined the goal of establishing a democratic environment devoid of political malpractices and corruption.

He concluded by assuring Nigerians and the “Obidient” movement of Peter Obi’s steadfast affiliation with the Labour Party, affirming his dedication to advancing the ideal of a democratic Nigeria free from oppressive forces.

It is evident that Peter Obi remains resolute in his mission to liberate Nigeria from the clutches of oppression, a cause that persists through the collective will of the Nigerian populace. – NAN
