The anniversary festivities took place at the Seat of Wisdom Catholic Church in Greenfield Estate, where the agency excitedly celebrated over three decades of unwavering commitment to road safety in Nigeria.

Kicking off with a vibrant parade and march-past at the FRSC headquarters, the event showcased the organisation’s discipline and precision, with officers dressed in immaculate uniforms, demonstrating their dedication to ensuring safer roads for all citizens.

Chief Root Commander Uko Uko, who presided over the gathering, expressed gratitude for the steadfast support of the government, partners, and the public over the years.

“As we celebrate 36 years of existence, we reflect on the journey that brought us here and the countless lives we have touched through our commitment to road safety. The FRSC remains resolute in its mission to create safer road environments and save lives,” remarked the commander.

The chairman of the anniversary, Chief Victor Okelola, urged citizens to reduce their speed to mitigate the occurrence of accidents.

He also highlighted the FRSC’s efforts in educating the public through the design and production of driver’s licences and emphasised the importance of obeying traffic rules and regulations.
