The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has made a significant breakthrough in the case of the vandalism of a warehouse belonging to the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCTA) in Abuja. According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, 15 suspects have been apprehended in connection with the incident, including two security guards employed by the warehouse management. During the operation, 26 bags of maize, five motorcycles, and vandalized aluminum roofing sheets were recovered from the suspects. The swift action of the police has led to the restoration of normalcy in the Tasha area of Abuja, where the warehouse is located. The Agricultural and Rural Development Secretariat of the FCTA has also confirmed the looting of its warehouse by hoodlums. The incident, which occurred on March 3, resulted in significant damage to the property. The Police Command has assured the public that the situation is now under control, and measures have been put in place to prevent such incidents in the future. The arrests made in connection with the vandalism serve as a warning to those who engage in criminal activities. For more updates on this developing story, stay tuned to Media Talk Africa.
