At a special event held at the Guinness Nigeria headquarters in Lagos, Managing Director Adebayo Alli reaffirmed the company’s dedication to creating an inclusive environment where every individual can thrive. Alli highlighted the impact of the Spirited Women’s Network, which has led to a 25% increase in women in leadership positions over the past three years. The company offers progressive benefits such as paid pregnancy loss leave, fully paid maternity leave, and leadership training programs to support its female workforce.

The event also featured a keynote address by Ndidi Nwuneli, Executive Chair of African Food Changemakers & Trustee of The Rockefeller Foundation. Nwuneli emphasized the importance of creating supportive communities for women’s growth and encouraged continuous self-improvement and resilience on the path to success.

A panel discussion, ‘Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress,’ further explored the necessity of investing in women to drive societal advancement. Panellists including Ijeoma Taylaur, Rolake Akinkungbe-Filani, Dolapo Oshiegbu, and Adebayo Alli discussed strategies for accelerating progress towards gender equality and the importance of raising confident women from a young age.
