Tems, Davido, and Lojay Shine at 2024 NAACP Image Awards

Three talented Nigerian musicians, Tems, Davido, and Lojay, shined bright at the prestigious 2024 NAACP Image Awards, which took place virtually on Monday, March 11. The event, hosted on naacpimageawards.net, celebrated excellence in the entertainment industry with a global audience tuning in.

Tems was honored with the Outstanding International Song award for her captivating track ‘Me & U,’ showcasing her unique talent and artistry on an international stage. Davido and Lojay also made their mark, being part of the award-winning collaboration on Chris Brown’s ‘Sensational,’ which clinched the title of Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (contemporary).

The night saw Chris Brown and Victoria Monét emerge as the top winners, each taking home two awards. Brown’s chart-topping hit ‘Sensational,’ featuring Davido and Lojay, secured him the Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (contemporary) award, while his collaboration with Ciara on ‘How We Roll’ earned him the Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (traditional) accolade. On the other hand, Monét’s album ‘Jaguar II’ garnered her the titles of Outstanding Album and Outstanding New Artist, solidifying her place as a rising star in the music industry.
