Benue South APC Leaders Urge Unity Amidst Party Confusion

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue South Senatorial District, also known as Zone C, has issued a strong call to Daniel Onjeh, the party’s senatorial candidate in the upcoming 2023 election, and Benjamin Omakolo to halt their disruptive actions within the party.

Onjeh recently filed a petition against the Benue APC chairman, Austin Agada, accusing him of engaging in anti-party activities during the election. Meanwhile, Omakolo has been asserting himself as the party chairman, despite a court ruling affirming Agada’s position as the legitimate chairman.

In response to these developments, the zonal youth leaders held a press conference on Wednesday to express their unwavering support for Agada and the state executive committee of the party. Christopher Ogbole, the Zonal Youth Leader, emphasized the need for unity within the party and urged Onjeh and Omakolo to work together with Agada for the advancement of the APC.

Ogbole praised Agada’s leadership, highlighting his dedication to youth empowerment and community development. He commended Agada for his efforts in engaging and uplifting the younger generation, as well as his compassionate outreach to friends and widows. The APC Youth Leaders in South Zone C extended a vote of confidence to Agada, urging him to continue his transformative work for the benefit of the community.

Furthermore, the APC Youth leadership called on individuals like Daniel Onjeh, Benjamin Omakolo, and their supporters to refrain from causing further discord in the zone. They stressed the importance of unity in order to fully capitalize on the democratic progress made by the people.

In a vibrant political landscape like Benue South Zone C, the APC is striving to maintain cohesion and focus on the common goal of progress and development. By standing together and supporting their leadership, the party aims to overcome internal challenges and work towards a brighter future for all members and constituents.
