Nollywood Star Laide Bakare Shuts Down Rumors of Third Marriage

Popular Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, has recently found herself at the center of speculation regarding her marital status. Reports surfaced claiming that Bakare had tied the knot for the third time after a cozy clip with an unidentified man made its way onto the internet. However, Bakare took to her Instagram page to set the record straight and put an end to the rumors.

In a video shared on Wednesday, Bakare clarified that the man in the viral clip was simply her onscreen partner, not her real-life husband. She urged the public to refrain from jumping to conclusions and labeling the man as her spouse. “Stop it, you guys. I have made it clear before that my clip with my colleague was from a movie set. We portrayed lovers in multiple films consecutively. He’s not my husband, it is all acting,” she stated firmly.

For those unfamiliar with Bakare’s romantic history, the actress was previously married to Olumide Kunfulire, with whom she shares a daughter named Simi from their union in 2008. Following their separation, Bakare went on to marry Lagos socialite Tunde Oriowo in 2013, with whom she welcomed two sons.

With this clarification, Bakare hopes to put an end to the rumors surrounding her personal life and emphasize the distinction between reel and real. As a talented actress, Bakare is no stranger to portraying love onscreen, but in real life, she remains focused on her career and family.

By addressing the speculation head-on, Bakare has shown grace and poise in the face of unfounded rumors, proving that sometimes, the truth is simpler than it seems. Let’s celebrate Bakare’s talent and professionalism, both on and off the screen.
