A tragic incident occurred on Ojo-Igbede Road in the Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, where a yet-to-be-identified man lost his life after an electric cable drum fell on him. The unfortunate event took place while a forklift was in the process of transloading armored cables from a container. As the cables were being moved, one of the drums disconnected and tragically landed on the victim, who was reportedly walking past the area while engrossed in his phone. Despite efforts to rush him to the hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries on the way.
