Eniola Ajao Reveals Why Bobrisky Won “Best Dressed Female” Award at ‘Ajakaju’ Premiere

Nollywood star Eniola Ajao has shed light on the controversial decision to award popular crossdresser Bobrisky the title of “Best Dressed Female” at the premiere of her latest movie, ‘Ajakaju’. The announcement sparked a wave of mixed reactions, with many questioning the choice.

In an exclusive interview with Arise TV, Ajao revealed that the award was actually a playful stunt designed to generate buzz around the movie. “It was all in good fun. We wanted to create a talking point and get people interested in the film,” she explained. “My team and I thought it would be a bold move to give the award to Bobrisky, considering his reputation for controversy. It was a strategic decision to make sure the movie stayed in the spotlight.”

Despite the intention behind the award, some individuals were not pleased with the outcome. Ajao took the opportunity to defend actor Femi Adebayo, who presented the award. “Femi had no part in the decision-making process. He simply announced the winner. It’s unfair for people to criticize him for something he had no control over,” she emphasized. “We hope that Nigerians can see the humor in it and not take it too seriously.”

The move to honor Bobrisky with the title of “Best Dressed Female” may have raised eyebrows, but it certainly achieved its goal of sparking conversation. As the controversy continues to swirl, one thing is clear – ‘Ajakaju’ has successfully captured the attention of audiences far and wide.
