Kaduna Electric, a leading electricity distribution company in Nigeria, has taken proactive measures to ensure uninterrupted power supply to its customers in Kaduna State. In a recent statement, the company announced the establishment of rapid response teams to address downtime issues on Band A feeders in key regions such as Doka, Zaria, Rigasa, and Barnawa.

The four-member teams are dedicated to swiftly resolving faults and restoring power supply round the clock. Customers are encouraged to report any issues to the teams for prompt assistance. This initiative is part of Kaduna Electric’s commitment to providing reliable electricity to Band A customers following a recent tariff adjustment.

To further enhance service delivery, the company has been meeting its obligation of offering up to 20 hours of power supply daily on Band A feeders in line with the Service Based Tariff regime. Additionally, efforts are underway to upgrade lower Band feeders to higher bands for improved power supply across the region.

In a bid to combat energy theft and meter tampering, Kaduna Electric has warned customers against engaging in such illegal activities. The company has implemented measures to identify and prosecute offenders to ensure a fair and transparent electricity distribution system.

For more information on the rapid response teams and contact details, customers can visit Kaduna Electric’s official website. With these initiatives in place, Kaduna Electric is dedicated to providing efficient and reliable electricity services to its diverse customer base in Kaduna State.
