Davido Reacts to Cubana Chief Priest’s N10m Bail for Naira Abuse

Singer Davido has responded to the news of socialite Cubana Chief Priest being granted a N10 million bail after pleading not guilty to alleged naira abuse. Cubana Chief Priest, who appeared before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos, faced a three-count charge brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Despite the serious allegations, he was granted bail with two sureties in like sum.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Cubana Chief Priest expressed gratitude to his friends and fans for their support during this challenging time. He reflected on the trial, acknowledging that it has shown that he is not to be underestimated.

In response to Cubana Chief Priest’s post, Davido expressed disbelief at the possibility of his friend being jailed, emphasizing that he couldn’t bear not seeing him for six months. Davido’s comment highlighted the strong bond between the two friends and their unwavering support for each other.

This development comes shortly after popular crossdresser Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in jail without the option of a fine for Naira mutilation by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos.

The entertainment industry continues to be rocked by legal issues, but the support and camaraderie among celebrities like Davido and Cubana Chief Priest remain steadfast. Their friendship serves as a reminder of the importance of standing by loved ones during challenging times.
