Arrest Made in Abia State University Student Murder Case

The Abia State Police Command has made a significant breakthrough in the case of the tragic murder of Emmanuel Uche, a 500-level student at Abia State University. Emmanuel Victor, the alleged perpetrator of the heinous crime, has been apprehended by the authorities.

According to ASP Maureen Chinaka, the Police Public Relations Officer for the state, Emmanuel Victor was arrested in connection to the suspected cult clash that led to the untimely death of Emmanuel Uche. The arrest was made following the circulation of a viral video depicting the chilling incident that took place in front of Miracle Lodge, Uturu.

In a statement released on behalf of the state Commissioner of Police, Kenechukwu Onwumelie, it was revealed that the principal suspect was captured in the viral video committing the murder at Abia State University. Emmanuel Victor has reportedly confessed to the crime and is currently in police custody awaiting trial.

This development marks a significant step towards justice for the victim and his family. The Abia State Police Command is committed to ensuring that the perpetrator faces the full consequences of his actions in a court of law.
