Chinedu Okoli, popularly known as Flavour, recently discussed his decision to remain single despite being a father of three daughters from two women and an adopted son. The “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)” hitmaker shared insights into his personal life and mindset during an interview with Bounce.

Flavour explained that his current lifestyle and mental state are not conducive to marriage. “I enjoy casual relationships in hotels more than the idea of marriage,” he candidly admitted. Emphasizing the importance of personal readiness, he stated, “You have to be content with yourself first. I’m not in the right mental state to accommodate a wife at the moment.”

He further elaborated on his reasoning, saying, “If I were to seek a wife now, I would likely fail and disappoint her. My personality isn’t fair to women, and I don’t want to treat anyone badly. That’s why I choose to stay single. The worst thing you can do is mistreat a woman, and I avoid that by not committing to a marriage.”

Reflecting on his life choices, Flavour noted, “I admire beautiful marriages, but I prefer the freedom and lifestyle that comes with staying in hotels. The Ashawo in me is on another level.”

Recently, Flavour buried his father in Anambra State, with his children and one of his baby mamas, Sandra Okagbue, in attendance. Despite rumors of a secret marriage with Sandra Okagbue, Flavour has not confirmed any such union.
