Music executive Ubi Franklin has opened up about his lingering feelings for his estranged wife, actress Lilian Esoro, during a recent Instagram Q&A session with fans.
When asked by a fan if he still loves Lilian Esoro, the mother of his son, Franklin responded affirmatively. “Oh yes! We have a son together and love will always live there,” Franklin said, acknowledging the enduring bond he feels for Esoro.
In the same Instagram interaction, Franklin also shared his thoughts on the future of his personal life. A fan inquired, “Do you have plans of remarrying?” to which Franklin answered, “100 per cent,” hinting at his intention to find love again.
Franklin and Esoro’s marriage, which began in 2015, ended in separation a year after the birth of their son. Esoro initially filed for divorce in Lagos High Court, but the request was denied. Franklin subsequently pursued the divorce in Abuja, and their marriage was officially dissolved on January 28, 2021.
Their relationship has remained a subject of public interest, with a notable online moment last month when Franklin was seen admiring Esoro’s style and composure at Davido and Chioma’s wedding.
