A member of the House of Representatives, Olajide Akinremi, popularly known as Jagaban, has passed away. The cause of his death, which occurred on Wednesday, remains unknown. Mr Akinremi represented the Ibadan North Federal Constituency of Oyo State until his demise.
Per the tradition of the National Assembly, plenary and committee activities are expected to be suspended to allow members to mourn and honour their colleagues.
