Cardi B Endorses Kamala Harris as Democratic Candidate for US Presidential Election

Renowned American rapper Cardi B has thrown her weight behind Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s candidate for the upcoming United States presidential election. Harris was officially endorsed by President Joe Biden over the weekend, stepping down as the Democratic Party’s candidate to make way for Harris.

According to reports, Biden’s endorsement came as a shock to many, with some speculating that he had been planning this move for some time. Cardi B, however, was thrilled with the news and took to social media to express her excitement, writing, “Aha hahaha let’s go! I told y’all Kamala [Harris] was supposed to be the 2024 candidate… Stop f*ckin playin with me!”

In May, Cardi B had sparked controversy by stating that she wouldn’t be voting in the November poll if Trump and Biden were the only two major candidates. At the time, she described Trump as “a dire threat”, but under Biden’s presidency, she claimed to have felt “layers and layers of disappointment” due to what she perceives as poor domestic and foreign management.

With this latest development, all eyes will be on Harris, as she seeks to become the first African American woman to hold the office of the United States presidency. Will Cardi B’s endorsement prove to be a valuable boost for Harris’s campaign? Only time will tell.
