Blueface Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison for Violating Probation

Blueface Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Los Angeles-based rapper Blueface has been sentenced to four years in prison, according to his father, Johnathan Porter Sr., who shared the news on Instagram. The sentence was handed down due to Blueface’s violation of his probation stemming from a 2021 incident where he assaulted a security guard at a San Fernando Valley club.

In an Instagram clip, Porter Sr. revealed the sentence, saying, "Y’all can probably tell the results by how I look. They gave him four years." He later expressed his frustration with the outcome.

Ahead of the sentencing, Porter Sr. had asked his followers to pray for his son’s freedom. In a post, he wrote, "I’m hoping and praying that the judge shows him some mercy and some leniency and free him today. I need y’all to pray up for me. Help me pray for Blueface and let him out today. Free Blueface. Let the famous crip free."

The news was also confirmed by Blueface’s manager, Wack 100, who stated that the rapper will not be serving the full sentence, as his current time behind bars will count as time served, bringing it down to three years.

Blueface’s sentencing comes just weeks after Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delaney granted him probation for up to three years in a separate case in Las Vegas. Under the terms of his probation, he was ordered to abstain from alcohol and drug use, including marijuana, stay out of distance of the Las Vegas strip unless otherwise hired to appear, attend impulse control counseling, and other conditions. With the new sentence, these requirements are no longer applicable.

The "Thotiana" rapper’s legal troubles have been a subject of public interest, with fans and followers eagerly awaiting updates on his case.
