Big Brother Naija’s Chinwe Denies Sponsoring Boyfriend Zion to the Show
In a surprising twist, Big Brother Naija’s contestant Chinwe has refuted claims that she sponsored her boyfriend, Zion, to the show. The controversy erupted after Chinwe accused Zion of not supporting her during a fight with fellow housemates Onyeka and Chizoba on Thursday.
During a conversation with DJ Flo on Thursday, Chinwe initially claimed that she sponsored their entry into the show. She further expressed her regrets for coming to the show with Zion instead of her best friend. However, on Sunday night’s eviction show, host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu inquired about Chinwe’s statement, prompting her to deny ever making such claims.
When Ebuka asked, "Why did you say you sponsored Zion to the house?" Chinwe responded, "I didn’t say so. I said I was the source of encouragement for Zion since he wasn’t excited about coming to Biggie’s house."
