Saweetie and YG Involved in Heated Argument, LAPD Called to Break Up Fight
Rappers Saweetie and YG were involved in a heated argument at their residence that required the LAPD to intervene and break up the fight. According to TMZ, the authorities were called to the scene after the couple’s disagreement escalated, although no physical contact was reported.
The argument reportedly stemmed from a cell phone dispute, but the couple was able to clarify that they were simply having a loud and intense conversation. After speaking with police, the situation was resolved, and a non-criminal report was taken.
Saweetie and YG have been dating since April 2023, after being spotted together at Coachella and later on a romantic trip to Mexico. The couple has been showing off their affection for each other on social media and in public appearances.
In a recent performance at Rolling Loud California, YG publicly professed his love for Saweetie, introducing her as the “Queen of this West Coast sh*t” and performing her 2019 hit single “My Type.” The sweetest moment came when he told her, “I love you, girl. With yo fine a,” and she responded, “Rich nias love pretty girls. I love you too, baby.”
Despite this recent incident, the couple seems to be strong and committed to each other.
