Actress Ini Dima-Okojie Reveals Holistic Approach to Shrinking Her Fibroids

Nollywood actress, Ini Dima-Okojie, has taken to her TikTok account to share her holistic approach to shrinking her fibroids, after announcing the unfortunate return of the condition in July.

In a video posted on August 15, 2024, Okojie stated that she has refused to undergo surgery to remove the fibroids again, opting for a holistic approach instead. According to the actress, she has had to make significant dietary changes to support her goal, including giving up red meat, dairy, and processed foods.

Okojie listed specific foods that she has cut from her diet, including lamb, cow meat, goat meat, sausages, cheese, milk, refined sugar, and condensed foods. She also mentioned that she’s avoiding carbonated drinks, caffeine, high-sodium foods, and anything high in estrogen, which she believes can promote the growth of the fibroids.

While sharing her experience, Okojie aimed to raise awareness about the emotional and mental toll of dealing with fibroids. As she mentioned, the setback of their return has been difficult for her emotionally, but she remains determined to try a holistic approach to manage the condition.
