BBNaija Season 9: Nominations and Rule Changes Unfold
The first nomination show for Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 took place on Monday, and it’s been a dramatic start to the season. Five pairs left in the house have been put up for possible eviction on Sunday, and at least one of them will be evicted during the live show.
The pairs nominated for eviction are Beta, Chekas, DoubleKay, Wanni x Handi, and Zinwe. The news comes after the show’s organisers made some significant changes to the rules just yesterday.
According to Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show’s host, Biggie has abolished the Custodian Challenge and the HOH ballot, and has also stripped the housemates of the power to vote for the eviction of the bottom four pairs. However, Biggie has restored immunity for the Head of House (HOH), but the HOH does not have the power to “save and replace.”
In a major twist, the pairs will now nominate the others for eviction, while viewers have the ultimate power to evict by voting. This change in rules adds an extra layer of excitement and unpredictability to the show.
