Biafra Republic Government Seeks US Support for Self-Rule

Biafra Republic Government In-Exile Hails US Investor’s Call for Self-Determination

The Simon Ekpa-led Biafra Republic Government In-Exile has welcomed a recent call by Michael Rubin, a senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and investor, for the incoming administration of the United States to consider the self-actualization of Biafra.

Rubin’s article, titled “The Next Administration Must Keep an Eye on Nigeria,” published in an American Journal, highlighted the need for the next US president to support the call for Biafra Liberation. According to Rubin, Biafrans are seeking self-determination, and even if they do not declare independence, the Nigerian government’s unwillingness to address ethnic persecution and anti-Christian discrimination cannot continue.

Reacting to Rubin’s article, Ekpa praised the investor for highlighting the plight of Biafrans and their agitation for self-rule. Ekpa also boasted that the declaration of Biafra Independence would take place on December 2, 2024.

In a statement, Ekpa thanked Rubin for recognizing the struggles of the Biafran people and the BRGIE self-referendum. He expressed his gratitude for being discussed by someone of Rubin’s prestige and eminence.

It is worth noting that BRGIE claimed in July 2024 that over 50 million Biafrans voted in favor of the Biafra referendum.

The Biafra Republic Government In-Exile’s statement comes as the world awaits the outcome of the upcoming US presidential election, which is expected to have significant implications for international relations and global politics.
