Nollywood Actress Sharon Okpamen Passes Away After Childbirth

According to Ontop, Okpamen was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur, and humanitarian who left a significant void in the industry. The news of her passing has sent shockwaves across the Edo entertainment industry and the wider Nollywood community.

Okpamen was almost a month into her second child when she tragically passed away. Her colleague announced the news on social media, expressing sadness and grief at the loss of their talented colleague. He wrote, “It’s a sad day for Nollywood & the Edo entertainment industry. Sharon, who was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur & humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry.”

The 24-year-old actress announced the birth of her second child on her Facebook page on July 31. Unfortunately, she reportedly went into a coma after the childbirth and eventually passed away. Her colleague’s heartfelt post is a testament to her impact on the industry and her fans.
