The group, which consisted of Blackface, 2Face (now known as 2Baba), and Faze, was a pioneer in the Nigerian music scene.

The Plantashun Boiz originally disbanded in 2004, following the release of their sophomore album ‘Sold Out’. Although the group reunited for a third and final album, ‘Plan B’, in 2007, it ultimately led to another disbandment.
