Sean "Diddy" Combs Accused of Physical, Verbal, and Sexual Abuse by Former Artist Dawn Richard

Renowned music executive Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing allegations of physical, verbal, and sexual abuse from former artist Dawn Richard. Richard, a former member of Danity Kane and Dirty Money, has filed a 65-page lawsuit against Combs, detailing the alleged abuse and threatening behavior he subjected her to during their time working together.

According to Richard’s lawsuit, she was subjected to "inhumane working conditions" while working with Combs, including groping, assault, and false imprisonment. The lawsuit also claims that Richard witnessed Combs physically abusing his ex-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, on multiple occasions.

Combs has responded to the allegations through his attorney, Erica Wolff, denying all claims and calling Richard’s lawsuit a desperate attempt to get a "pay day" timed to coincide with her album release and press tour. Combs emphasized that Richard’s allegations were "false" and "manufactured" and accused her of attempting to cash in on their 20-year friendship.

However, Richard has stood by her claims, crediting Ventura’s bravery in coming forward as the catalyst that helped her realize her own experiences with abuse at the hands of Combs. The lawsuit also alleges that Richard and her bandmate, Kalenna Harper, were threatened by Combs for attempting to intervene and help Ventura, with Combs allegedly saying, "You bches don’t get in my relationship… Don’t tell my bch what she needs to be doing. Just make money and shut the f**k up."

The allegations against Combs come as a shock to many in the music industry, given his reputation as a successful and influential artist and entrepreneur. However, Richard’s lawsuit highlights the need for greater accountability and support for artists who may be subjected to abuse or exploitation in the industry.
