Big Brother Naija Housemates Feel the Heat and Unfair Treatment
In the latest update from the Big Brother Naija reality show, the ‘No Loose Guard’ housemates have been expressing their frustration and disappointment with the treatment they are receiving from the show’s anonymous voice, known as Biggie. The housemates have been charged multiple times to be more active and engaging, but they feel that they are being harshly criticized and unfairly treated.
Reality show host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has also weighed in on the issue, blasting the housemates for being boring and not adding value to the show. Biggie has introduced several tasks for the housemates during the seventh week of the show, leaving them with minimal time to rest or sleep.
Handi, one of the housemates, expressed her discomfort with the sudden change in temperature in the house. “Big Brother, you are dealing with us o. What kind of heat is this after weeks of intense cold?” she complained. Action Ben also spoke out about Biggie’s tone, stating that it had changed towards him. “He didn’t even ask during my diary session if I had anything else to share. He just said, ‘leave the room and shut the door’,” Action Ben said.
Anita and Nelly also joined in on the lamentations, asking “Wetin we do self?” in a clear expression of frustration and confusion. The housemates’ complaints come at a time when the show is seeking to increase viewer engagement and entertainment value.
