Tito Jackson: Legendary Musician and Jackson 5 Brother Dies Aged 70

Beloved musician and brother of the late Michael Jackson, Tito Jackson, has passed away at the age of 70. The news was confirmed by the Jackson family, with the cause of death yet to be determined.

Tito was an original member of the Jackson 5 pop group, performing alongside brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael. The group rose to fame in the 1960s and ’70s, with hits like "ABC," "The Love You Save," and "I Want You Back." They sold more than 150 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Tito’s death was met with shock and sadness from friends and family. His three sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, paid tribute on Instagram, saying they are "shocked, saddened, and heartbroken." They remembered their father as an "incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being."

Fellow musician and former Jackson 5 drummer Jonathan Moffett led tributes on social media, saying he is "stunned, devastated, and speechless" by the news.

Tito was a skilled guitarist and backing vocalist who played a crucial role in the Jackson 5’s sound. He also pursued a solo career as a blues musician, releasing his debut single "Get It Baby" in 2016.

In the weeks leading up to his death, Tito was actively performing with his brothers as The Jacksons. Their final performance was in Munich, Germany, where they visited a memorial to their beloved brother Michael.

With a legacy that spans more than five decades, the Jackson family has produced numerous hits and has been honored with numerous awards and accolades. Tito will be deeply missed by his fans and loved ones.
