Sean "Diddy" Combs Placed on Suicide Watch Amidst Alleged Sex Crimes Charges
Rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, 54, has been placed on suicide watch at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) as he awaits trial for alleged sex crimes. According to sources, Combs is "in shock and his mental state is unclear." His legal team, however, denies the allegations, stating that he is "not at all suicidal" and remains "strong, healthy, confident, and focused on his defense."
Combs was arrested on September 16 on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Combs’ charges stem from allegations of forcing participants into "Freak Off" sex parties with male escorts and recording the events. His indictment states that "Freak Offs were elaborate and produced sex performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded."
The investigation into Combs’ activities began with a raid on his homes in Miami and Los Angeles, where federal agents discovered guns, ammunition, drugs, and large amounts of baby oil and lubricant. Combs is set to return to court on October 9.
