Diddy Removed from Suicide Watch Amid Sex Trafficking Charges

Diddy Removed from Suicide Watch, Focuses on Defense Ahead of Court Appearance

American rapper and music executive Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, has been reportedly removed from suicide watch at a detention facility in the United States. The news comes after he was arrested on September 16 by Homeland Security on suspicion of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution.

According to an article published by People on September 29, a law enforcement source exclusively told the news outlet that Diddy is no longer on suicide watch. Another source revealed that the rapper has visited with family while in custody, where he is currently being held before his court appearance in early October.

"He is focused and very strong. He is concentrating on his defense and preparing for his trial," Diddy’s lawyer was quoted as saying.

The arrest followed a raid on Diddy’s Beverly Hills mansion in March, during which federal officers seized supplies intended for use in orgies known as "freak offs," including drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil. Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, suggested in a TMZ Studios documentary that his client had purchased the baby oil in bulk from Costco, a claim the company denied.

Diddy has denied all the charges, entering a not-guilty plea on September 17. However, his bail request was rejected twice.
