Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Condones with Akwa Ibom State Governor Over the Demise of His Wife, Patience

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has sent its condolences to Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State over the death of his wife, Patience, after a brief illness. The National President of the PFN, Francis Wale-Oke, described the event as shocking and paid tribute to Patience, who he referred to as a “mother extraordinary.”

In a statement released by the Bureau of Media and Publicity of the PFN in Ibadan, Wale-Oke extended the condolences of millions of Pentecostals in Nigeria to Governor Eno and his family. He expressed sympathy and offered prayers during this difficult time, citing biblical scripture in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 to console the governor. The scripture reads: “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed. We are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.”

The PFN’s condolences included a prayer for the soul of the deceased to find peace with the Lord and for Governor Eno to find strength to continue his ministry and state duties.

This news has resonated across Nigeria and has elicited an outpouring of condolences and sympathies from various quarters.
