A Public Apology: Nollywood Actress Halima Abubakar Makes Amends with Apostle Johnson Suleman

In a surprising turn of events, popular Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, has extended a heartfelt apology to Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries for defaming him. The actress took to social media to express her regret for spreading falsehood against the clergyman, which she claims caused him immense pain.

The drama between Abubakar and Suleman began in 2022 when the actress fell ill following an altercation with the clergyman. At the time, her family took to social media to publicly call out Suleman, asking him to stay away from their ailing loved one. Although many speculated that Abubakar was battling an autoimmune disease, she dispelled these rumors by sharing her medical report.

However, in a recent about-face, Abubakar has taken a bold step towards making amends. She wrote a heartfelt letter to Apostle Suleman, expressing her deep regret for tarnishing his image and causing harm to his family and ministry. In the letter, Abubakar admits to making false allegations and acknowledges the pain and distress she caused.

In her apology letter, Abubakar writes, "I admit that I made false allegations against you and also regret my action and the damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr Lizzy Suleman, your family, and the leaders of the Omega Fire Ministry." She further adds, "With this letter, I humbly ask for forgiveness, recognizing that my apology cannot undo the harm, pain, and distress I caused… I’m truly sorry for all the hurts and distress I caused you, your family, and ministry."

Abubakar’s decision to extend an olive branch to Apostle Suleman marks a significant turning point in their public feud. As the actress seeks to repair the damage caused by her actions, her apology serves as a reminder of the importance of accountability and respect in our public interactions.
