Davido Breaks African TikTok Record

AFRICA CELEBRATES AS NIGERIAN SINGER DAVIDO SHATTERS TIKTOK RECORD WITH MASSIVE LIVE STREAM

The music world is abuzz with the news that Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has smashed the record for the most-watched TikTok live stream in Africa. The continent’s favorite musician achieved an astonishing 389,800 total viewers, leaving fans and followers in awe.

On October 30, Davido co-hosted an electrifying livestream with TikTok sensations Peller, Jarvis, and Jo Blaq. The star-studded event drew in a massive audience, with a staggering 164,000 people watching the stream live. The sheer scale of Davido’s online presence was on full display, as his fans, affectionately known as the Davido FC, came out in numbers to show their support.

In addition to the impressive viewership, Davido also received an astounding 377 lion gifts on TikTok, each valued at $400. In a heartwarming gesture, the singer revealed that the money would be given to his co-hosts, Peller, Jarvis, and Jo Blaq, as a token of appreciation for their hard work and collaboration.

Interestingly, Peller, one of the co-hosts, formerly held the record for the most-watched TikTok live stream in Africa. However, his record was short-lived, as Davido shattered it during a livestream that featured none other than the talented singer Tiwa Savage.

This latest achievement solidifies Davido’s position as one of Africa’s most beloved and influential artists. His dedication to his craft, coupled with his infectious enthusiasm, has won the hearts of fans across the continent and beyond. As the music world continues to evolve, one thing is clear – Davido is here to stay, and his star will only continue to shine brighter.
