AFCON 2025Q: Dele-Bashiru set to miss Super Eagles vs Rwanda with injury

Lazio star, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has emerged an injury doubt for Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying dead rubber clash against Rwanda.

Dele-Bashiru sustained an injury in training prior to Super Eagles’ clash with Benin Republic on Thursday.

The 23-year-old failed a late fitness test which forced him to miss the 1-1 draw with the Cheetahs.

The midfielder could now miss the game against the Amavubi as he is yet to recover fully from the injury.

Nottingham Forest defender, Ola Aina has also been ruled out of the game due to injury.

Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has also been granted permission to leave camp following the death of his father.
