EPL: Amorim suffers injury blow ahead of first Man Utd game

New Manchester United head coach, Ruben Amorim, is set to be without Victor Lindelof for his first game in charge.

Lindelof was injured playing for Sweden against Slovakia in the UEFA Nations League.

The defender, who has made 266 appearances for United, had to be helped off the pitch.

Lindelof lasted less than half an hour before he was assisted off the pitch by two members of the Sweden medical staff.

This injury throws his chances of featuring in Amorim’s first game against Ipswich next weekend into doubt.

Amorim will also be hoping his key members return after the international break unscathed.
