NPFL: Kano Pillars appreciate fans for support in draw against Heartland

Kano Pillars have penned an appreciation message to their supporters for trooping out en masse to support the team on their return to the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.

The Sai Masu Gida were held to a 2-2 draw by Heartland in the matchday 12 fixture.

Kano Pillars legends Rabiu Ali and Ahmed Musa grabbed the goals for Usman Abdallah’s side, while Suraj Lawal netted a brace for the visitors.

The statement read: “We sincerely appreciate our incredible fans for coming out in large numbers to support us in our first game of the season at the iconic Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday. Your unwavering passion and dedication to Kano Pillars FC were truly inspiring.

“Although the match ended in a draw against Heartland FC, your show of sportsmanship and commitment is worth emulating. Your energy and encouragement remain the driving force behind our success, and together, we will achieve greatness.
