Transfer: Spanish club, Celta Vigo chase Nigerian striker Maja

Spanish club Celta Vigo have been linked with a move for Nigeria striker, Josh Maja, Media Talk Africa reports.

According to Spanish news hub, Super Deporte, the Sky Blues have lined up a move for the West Bromwich Albion star ahead of the January transfer window.

Maja has been in fantastic form for West Brom this season, contributing nine goals and one assist in 15 league appearances.

West Brom have set a €20m asking price for the forward.

Celta Vigo want him to replace Iago Aspas, who is coming to the end of his contract.

The 37-year-old’s contract will end next summer.
